Trip to the Zoo

Today my mom, a friend and my aunts took my cousins and I to the St. Louis Zoo. We had so much fun looking at all the different animals.

Mom took this picture at lunch. She said I looked like a monkey behind bars.

Here's some camels that we got to see. See the two little babies. When they stood up, they had some really long legs.

This giraffe was trying so hard to get some of the leaves for a snack. We watched him work really hard to reach them with his tongue and he finally was able to grab a few. I sure hope they tasted good, as hard as he worked for them.

This was a little black bear. He had just gotten out of the water from taking a dip to cool off.

Here's some alligators. They didn't move the whole time we were looking at them.

We got to see baboons. They were jumping around on the rocks playing with each other.

Here's the zebras. I think they were standing in the shade trying to stay cool.

Man the elephants were huge. We thought we were going to get to see some baby elephants but we were too late.

This is the biggest catfish I've ever seen. Today Dad and Uncle Jeff were in a fishing tournament. I wish they could have caught a cat this big, they would have won for sure.

Here's the seals. They were talking to us the whole time we watched them. They looked like they were having a lot of fun swimming around. Johnna kept saying she wished she could be swimming.

This is just one of the snakes that we saw. It's a good thing Uncle Jeff wasn't with us...he's terrified of snakes. He probably wouldn't have even gone in the reptile house.

We had so much fun today. I sure hope we get to go back sometime.

Toooo big

After I got my pj's on, mom and dad let me play a few minutes before bed.
Next thing mom knows, I'm standing up. I'm so big, I pulled myself up with a little bit of help from my dinosaur. Mom says I'm getting toooo big.

Memorial Day

Today was my first day in the swimming pool. Talk about fun.
Trenton kept running and jumping into the pool and making the water splash in my face. I didn't really care though, I like the water.
Here's me and my cousins. Adam and Lydia had a big pool with a water slide that they were playing in, but we got them to come into the little kids pool for a picture. I don't know what we'll do if I get more cousins, we kind of take up a lot of space just the five of us.

Pancakes

Mom fixed pancakes for breakfast this morning. See that little one, she said that one was especially for me.
Mom was just teasin'. She gave me a big pancake. It took me a few bites, before I really decided I liked it.
Once I got going, I just kept eating and eating. I hope mom fixes pancakes again real soon.

Ewwweeee!

Dad was out in the garage working on a trolling motor so Mom and I went out to watch. I got to cruise the whole garage floor. I had so much fun. Afterwards I had to go straight to the tub because I got so filthy. You can see how dirty my feet were.

Just a swingin'

Dad finally got my swing hung up that I got for Christmas. Mom and I swing almost everyday. Dad says I'm gonna be an acrobat. See how I can almost put my leg behind my head.

Sound asleep

Mom took this picture of me while I was sleeping. Her and Dad say I've been sleeping on my tummy all the time now. Sometimes I pull my knees up under me and sleep like a frog.

Baptism

Today I got baptised at church. Mom and Dad took me up to the front of the church and Aunt Erin, Aunt Susan, Uncle Jeff and Cousin Marlon all got to come up there with us. They said I did a really good job. Afterwards, Mom and Dad had a big BBQ for everyone. I just love spending days with the family.

After the shower, we went to Lauren's Nana and Pawpaw's house for dinner. That's Lauren and her mommy on my left. Her mom and my mom were born on the same day. On my right is Lauren's Aunt Becky and her two kids Colton and Aubrey.

Eye to eye

Mom and I are going to a baby shower this afternoon for my friend Lauren, but before we went Uncle Jeff came over and played for a while. He told me not to be flirting with all the girls at the shower. I think he's a little protective of me.
