What a difference a year makes

This is Mom, Dad and me last year in the pumpkin patch.

This is us now. Look how much I've grown. What a difference a year makes.

Apple Butter

This weekend was Apple Butter weekend at Aunt Jo's. I don't really remember it from last year, but Mom and Dad say it happens every year and before I know it, I'll be helping. Us boys are too young to help yet so we just got to play all day. We played in the straw, with the pumpkins, and dug in the dirt with tractors.
They had pumpkins there as big as me. I think Adam, Trenton and Blaine think it's pretty cool that I'm getting big enough to play with them.

My buddy

Uncle Jeff came over to see me this afternoon. We're pretty good buddies. He can't wait to take me hunting and fishing.

Hot shot

Mom was working in the kitchen and I hollered at her to get her attention. I was standing up in my car acting like a hot shot. She told me she really hopes I don't drive like this when I turn 16.

Crashed

Tonight Mom and I went down to Grandma and Grandpa's and played for a while when Dad went fishing. I played outside with my cousins in the sandbox and then we played for a while inside. We were so tired when we got home that after I took a bath, we just crashed in the recliner. I think we would have slept there all night if Dad hadn't woke us up.

Festival at the park

Today Mom, Grandma, Aunt E, Trenton, Blaine and I went to the Heritage Festival in Columbia. We got to play in this pile of hay and find hidden popsicle sticks that we could exchange for candy.
I just wanted to play in the hay. I could have sat there all day.

Trenton and Blaine learned how to milk a cow.
Before we left the park, Blaine and I had a meeting of the heads. We had a lot of fun at the festival. We even went on a hayride.

One dirty boy

We went and stayed at the farm last night. It was my first night staying there and mom and dad said I did really good. Dad and Uncle Jeff caught lots of fish and I got my picture taken with them, but not with mom's camera. One of the fish was bigger than me. When we got home I had to take a bath cause I was so dirty my feet were almost black.

Great Grandparents

Great Grandma and Grandpa came down to play for a while tonight. They hadn't seen me since my birthday party and couldn't believe I was walking.
They let me get up on the couch and play. I kept pretending to go to sleep and they would tickle me to wake me up.

Pinned down

Dad and I were playing on the floor today and I got him pinned down. He said I was choking him, but I didn't mind.
That stuff on his face sure was prickly. It was tickling my hands.

Two big boys

Uncle Jeff came over this afternoon and thought he was going to get a nap in on my couch. Little did he know, nap time was over. I wanted to play.
He kept trying to put me back down on the floor, but I insisted on being on the couch with him.
