More playtime with Dad

Today Dad and I went downstairs and played on the tractors for a long time. When we were coming back upstairs I decided I was too tired to make it to the top. I laid down on one of the steps to rest, so Dad took a rest too.

Tonight Dad and I were horsing around and Mom caught us on camera.


Dad kept trying to steal all the couch pillows from me, but I wasn't gonna let him.

Starting on the Big Boy room

This weekend Mom and Dad started moving my stuff into my new Big Boy room. I get a new room, and sister is going to get my old room when she gets here. I have this big closet to put my clothes and stuff in. I had fun just playing in my closet while Mom and Dad moved stuff. It won't be long and I'll get to start staying in my new room.

More fair fun

Tonight we went back to the fair. Grandma and Grandpa Grant went with us. Grandma wanted me to be able to ride one of the rides, but Mom didn't think they were safe enough. Instead I rode the ponies. We went round and round and round. I think Mom was tired of walking when they finally stopped.

The week of the fair

This week was the Boone County Fair. Tonight we went into the Children's Barnyard and got to see lots of animals. There was a horse...

sheep, pigs and lots of others.

They also had an area where we could drive tractors and 4 wheelers. We had a lot of fun in the Children's Barnyard.

Afterwards we went and played on the big tractors and mowers. I sure bet Dad wishes he had one of these.

Our last day at Bennett

Today after we fed the fish again, we went to the pool for a while. The kiddie pool was just right for Blaine and I. It was so big Mom, Dad and Uncle John even got in with us.

There was a water pipe at one end that we played with. It was pouring water into the pool to keep it full.

We kept pressing our hands and bellies up against it and making it spray water everywhere. Trenton kept spraying water in my face. We had a lot of fun at the pool and camping.

Feeding the fish

Friday night we went down to the park and fed the fish. Mom said she remembers doing this as a child.
Dad and Uncle Jeff were showing me how to throw the food in to the fish. They're going fishing in the morning so they told me to feed them lots of food so there would be some big fish to catch.

Every time I through the food into them, they would splash water on me.

I had a lot of fun feeding the fish. We even went back down on Saturday and fed them again.

Camping weekend

This weekend we went camping down at Bennett Springs. Us kids played with the toys while the adults set up camp.

Grandma Pat was getting drinks for everyone. Trenton and Blaine wanted to help and so did I. Mom and dad tried to get me to stay over at the camper, but I told them I was going.

After we got the camper and tent set up, we got to play for a while.

More water fun

After our picnic and a nap, we went back down and got in the water again. Here's me peaking up the slide...

I finally got brave enough to go down the slide.

I went head first one time. Thankfully Mom caught me.

Dad got in too and took me down the slide a couple of times. Grandma Cindy even went down the slides, but Mom didn't get a picture of that. We had so much fun this weekend.

4th of July weekend

We spent most of 4th of July weekend down at Grandma and Pawpaw's. Last night we had a BBQ and shot off fire works. Today we spent a lot of time in the water. They have this huge water slide with a pool at the bottom of it. My favorite part of it is the water gun at the bottom. I held on to it most of the day.
It was fun to try and get a drink out of it. I kept spraying myself in the face every time.

After we swam for a while, we had a picnic.
