This week I got to go to my very first Boone County Fair. I got to meet all kinds of people and see lots of animals. We went to the petting zoo, watched the Queen contest, looked at the tractors... I even got to sample the famous pork burger and curly fries. Yuuummy!This is me and my friend Aubrey. I think we might be pretty good buds when we grow up. We like to sit and smile and jabber at each other. Maybe we'll start a tradition of going to the fair to see each other. Mom said she remembers going to the fair each year to see Aubrey's mom and Aunt Julie and eating ham and beans. They don't sell those anymore, but the pork burger sure was good.
